Cutting fluids are used for cooling and lubricating cutting tools. These fluids are engineered to improve tool life, material removal rate and surface finish. Water soluble fluids blend oil with emulsifiers and additives to create an oil-based coolant to be diluted with water. These fluids provide excellent lubricity and an increased cooling ability over straight oils.
