This is the original way lube formulation for machines with box ways, v-ways.  This oil was replaced by Vactra #2, but is still available.  Great for machines like Bridgeport Mills and lathes.  Oil has stickifiers (I guess this is a real word) and stays in place better than Vactra #2.
Available in 16oz. bottles.  No you don't have to buy a 5 gallon pail to get this oil.

Mobil Vacuoline™ 1400 Series oils are extra high performance lubricants specifically designed to satisfy the requirements of machine tools that use one oil for both hydraulic systems and way lubrication.
